Privacy  Policy and Security

The Privacy Policy is simple and straightforward: We respect your privacy, and we are committed to protecting it.

We protect the confidentiality and security of your project information by placing you, the Member, in control of the process by allowing you to consent to information sharing before it occurs as described in this Privacy Policy. NNAAP is committed to these Privacy Principles.

By using our web site, entering the web-based system, you consent to the collection and use of information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

We limit how, and with whom, we share your information.

NNAAP will only share your basic project information regarding your project as needed for mailing and website information. However, more detailed information will be kept confidential and for reporting to funding resources. Aggregate information may be used in presentations or training.

We establish safeguards to ensure the security and confidentiality of your information.

NNAAP restricts access to your program information and financial information to our staff that need it to do their work. Staff members with access to your information are required to strictly maintain the confidentiality of all Member information.

NNAAP maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal standards to protect your information. We may routinely test our information systems and website to ensure that unauthorized access does not occur.

Security

We take every reasonable precaution to protect your information. When you submit information to us through our web site, your information is protected both on-line and off-line. Please keep in mind that messages you send to us by Internet e-mail may not be secure. Do not send us any confidential or personal information by Internet e-mail. We maintain appropriate physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of your information within our company. Only staff which requires your information to perform a specific job is granted access to your identifiable information. We collect only the information necessary to report progress and outcomes.

NNAAP only collects information for necessary to serve our needs and to protect against fraud. We collect the following:

  • Information we receive from you on forms, and any other information you subsequently provided to us orally in writing or through the Internet
  • Information about your communications with us; Information we receive from customers and clients
  • Information from public records accessed in the ordinary course of business

We maintain your privacy after you cease to be our Member.

After submitting your final report to our office your account will become inactive, NNAAP will continue to follow this privacy policy with respect to the information we have in our possession about you and your project.

NNAAP will post our privacy policy to Members on our website. This privacy policy may be modified from time to time to comply with applicable laws or to conform to our current business practices, without prior notice to you. We will post any changes to this on our web site. We encourage you to revisit the Privacy Statement that is posted on our web site from time to time to check for updates.

Safeguards

We may record your telephone calls (or portions of your telephone calls) to us for customer service, staff training, security, and other lawful purposes. You consent and agree to recording through your participation in the Mini-grant program. Your consent shall be ongoing and need not be confirmed prior to, or during such recording, except to the extent applicable law expressly requires otherwise.
